The game stays completely frozen without any error. Iam using only unmoded 1.2 GoG version of Fallout and i have same problem, when i run into Vault 12, I grab the water chip and go back, the game freezes when i am trying to go up the ladder out of Vault location (i only have killed 2 ghouls who stops you and say "you are entering without permission". Worst case I'll just rush to Vault 12 snag the chip and say screw necropolis.ĮDIT - CRAP posted this in wrong part of forums. I tried disabling the high res mod and also deleting ddraw.dll but same thing. I really don't want to redo the level again as I'm getting sick of it at this point. I'm not sure what's causing it but just rushing to vault 12 asap seems to work okay. So I redid the level off that save looting/killing everything and it happened again. I have never saved in combat and also I thought maybe my save was bad so I loaded another save, ran to vault 12 bypassing all the loot and just killing the mutants but not looting them (invasion happened) and going up and down the ladder to vault 12 and it worked fine. I'm using the fixes only and got the game off GOG.īasically whenever I enter the VAULT 12 from the sewer and try to resurface the game crashes and gives me a 'instruction at' error. Looked around and couldn't seem to find a solution to my game crash.
